The PPCA Secretariat is the first point of contact for governments, partners and press. Complete the form below and we will get your message to the right colleague.

A note on how we work

Through the PPCA, coal-dependent countries are directly connected to the people – government counterparts in other countries, financial institutions and technical experts – best placed to support their specific transition needs.
If you are a government exploring what transitioning away from coal could look like, you can write to us in confidence. We would be happy to arrange a call to discuss how we could work together.
If you are an existing or prospective partner, member, donor or organisation wanting to contribute to our work, tell us how you want to get involved.
For media enquiries, please indicate this in your message and we will route you to the right colleague.
For information on joining the Alliance please see below.

The PPCA newsletter – stay close to the work

A short, occasional briefing from the Secretariat – the international moments worth knowing about, the solutions we’re publishing, the convenings ahead. No noise, no campaigns. Sent only when there’s something worth saying.

      Considering joining the PPCA?

The Powering Past Coal Alliance brings together governments, sub-national authorities, businesses, financial institutions and civil society organisations that share a commitment to the transition past coal. Membership is a formal step, with its own process and its own weight – and it carries real benefits: access to the network’s expertise, presence at the table where the work happens, and recognition among peers shaping the international agenda.

Membership routes differ by organisation type. The fastest way to understand what joining involves is to read through the process directly.
